Costa Rica CE Package

Dates: March 14, 2024 through March 20, 2024

Cost: $1700 with registration by January 15, 2024 and $1900 if you register after January 15, 2024

Registration information: You may register with a $500 deposit. All monies are due by February 15, 2024. Registration will close on February 25, 2024

What is included in the Costa Rica CE Package:

• 24 NCBTMB approved CE hours
• 7 nights accommodation from March 14, 2024 through March 20, 2024 (checking out March 21, 2024) – double occupancy
• Transportation to group events and to and from the second hotel for 6 full days
• Breakfast each morning
• Dinner on March 14, 2024 and on March 20, 2024
• Excursion to the La Paz Waterfall Garden
• Tour guide for the full 7 days

Class information:

• March 15, 2024 – 8:30 to 5:30 – SMRT to balance and realign the hip girdle – 8 CEs – Instructor: Dawn Lewis
• March 16, 2024 – 8:30 to 5:30 – Introduction to Thai for the table – 8 CEs – Instructor: Patrick Lee Ingrassia
• March 20, 2024 – 8:30 to 5:30 – SMRT to mobilize the shoulder girdle – 8 CEs – Instructor: Dawn Lewis

We will be staying at two hotels. The first, the Hotel Martino, is in La Garita, Costa Rica. All classes will be held at the Hotel Martino. We will stay at the Hotel Martino the nights of March 14^th, 15^th, and 16^th and then again the nights of March 19^th and 20^th. This is a link for the Hotel Martino: https://www.hotelmartino.com/

We will spend three of our five days at the Hotel Martino in class. Included dinners on March 14^th and March 20^th will be at the restaurant at the Hotel Martino. Each mornings included breakfast will be at the Hotel Martino.

The second hotel, Hotel Sueno Dorado, is located in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. We will spend two nights at the Hotel Sueno Dorado, the nights of March 17^th and 18^th. This is a link for the Hotel Sueno Dorado, https://www.afortunadoscr.com/suenodorado

La Fortuna is a fantastic place for excursions. Tour companies in La Fortuna will gladly schedule you for a hike around the Arenal Volcano, a trip to the Hanging Bridges, a Coffee or Chocolate tour, and much more. We will travel to La Fortuna on March 17^th, getting in around 2 pm. We will leave La Fortuna on March 19^th around 10 am and travel back to La Garita.

On the way back to the Hotel Martino in La Garita, we will stop for the included excursion at the La Paz Waterfall Gardens, https://waterfallgardens.com/ After which we will have a late lunch/early dinner at a wonderful local restaurant near the waterfall gardens. We will arrive back at the Hotel Martino around 7 pm.

We will be renting a bus for the full 6 days our group is in Costa Rica. The bus will transport us to the Hotel Sueno Dorado on March 17^th and return us to the Hotel Martino on March 19^th, as well as transport our group to fabulous local places for dinner on March 15^th, 16^th, and 19^th. Additionally, if a group wants to explore a certain area while in La Fortuna, our bus will transport that group.

For the duration of our 7 days and 7 nights in Costa Rica, Patrick will be our tour guide. Patrick has been traveling to Costa Rica several times a year for over 20 years. He finally moved to Costa Rica a few years ago. Patrick knows Costa Rica. He will be able to answer any questions, help with any issues, and guide you to the best local places and best excursions. Would you like single occupancy for your room? Cost for single occupancy is $550. Please register for the package with either a $500 deposit or full tuition at either $1700 (with discount) or $1900 (without discount) depending on registration date and then add the ticket for single occupancy at $550.

Would you like to bring a spouse/partner/friend? If your spouse/partner/friend will NOT be attending classes, but will be part of our group when we are not in classes, cost is $1200. Please register yourself for the package with either a $500 deposit or full tuition of either $1700 (with discount) or $1900 (without discount), depending on registration date and then add the ticket for spouse/partner/friend. You can add your spouse/partner/friend for a $500 deposit or full cost of $1200.

What is NOT included in the Costa Rica CE Package:

• All hotel rooms are double occupancy – if you prefer single occupancy, there will be an additional charge – please let us know as early as possible as the Hotel Sueno Dorado has limited space
• Transportation from and to the airport is NOT included in the package – cost each way is $25 – we will be providing phone numbers for specific taxi companies working with the Hotel Martino and aware of our group
• Food NOT included in the package includes all lunches and dinner on March 15^th, 16^th, 17^th, 18^th, and 19^th – additionally, we will not be providing snacks
• Any excursions outside of our group excursions to dinners and the La Paz Waterfall Gardens are NOT included in the package – this way each person in the group can choose to break away from the group for dinner and choose their excursions in La Fortuna
• Airfare is NOT included in the package (fly into San Jose in Costa Rica! Juan Santamaria Airport, SJO)

Refund policy: If you withdraw by January 15, 2024, $250 is non-refundable, all other monies will be refunded within 30 days. If you withdraw after January 15, 2024 but before March 1, 2024, $500 is non-refundable, all other monies will be refunded within 30 days. Non-refundable amounts with withdrawal before March 1, 2024 can be used for future classes or video courses. If you withdraw after March 1, 2024, no refund will be issued.
