Full tuition is $750 – we offer a $100 early registration discount, so tuition with registration 30+ days before class start date is $650 – your tuition will be discounted even if you register with a deposit as long as you register 30+ days before the start date of class.

INSTRUCTOR: Dawn Lewis

In this 3-day, 24 CE class, Dawn Lewis will be teaching you about the lymphatic system, including lymphatic drainage techniques, and how to use SMRT to decrease fluid from inflammation or fluid built up in interstitial tissue.  On the final day, we will use SMRT positioning to work with scar tissue.

The class will begin with instruction in the physiology of the lymphatic system and transition into lymphatic drainage massage techniques coupled with SMRT positions designed to stimulate lymphatic flow.  Instruction will include how to use SMRT positioning around metal plates and screws to increase skin glide and enhance lymphatic flow.

On the final day of class, we will explore how SMRT positioning effects scar tissue.  After a brief discussion of what scar tissue is, we will be working with scars in numerous areas of the body to increase tissue mobility, which will also increase joint ROM, and decrease pain caused by adhesive scar tissue.

A few policies to take note of before you register:

1. This class is NCBTMB approved. You will get CE credit for participation. Participation includes working on the part of the body we are learning in the class you are attending; doing the work shown on a partner; and receiving the work shown from a partner. We understand some people are touch averse. In our classes you will have to participate in massage trades. Registration in this class implies that you understand that CE credit will only be given for participation in the trades.
2. In class, the instructor or teaching assistant may touch you. This is done to help your partner understand what is being taught. We understand that obtaining permission to touch is important. Registration for this class implies that you understand instructors will periodically touch you to assist in the learning process.
3. You must be an LMT, PT, OT, Osteopath, Chiropractor, or other licensed healthcare practitioner to attend. Please do not register if you are not a licensed healthcare practitioner.
4. If you show up to a class and are unable to participate in the trades, either because you cannot be touched or because you are unable to work on a partner, you will be asked to leave class and no refund will be given. If you show up to a class and are not a licensed healthcare practitioner or in school to become a licensed healthcare practitioner, you will be asked to leave class and no refund will be given.

Class textbook: We will be sending you a digital copy of the textbook for this class. You may use the book digitally or print the book and bring it to class with you. The instructor will have 5 textbooks for sale at the class for $30 each. Since we will be sending you a digital book, if you withdraw from class after confirming by text, $30 will be taken from your payment for the book. Once the book is paid for, regular refund policies apply.

After registration, we will be sending you an email confirmation. You should receive this email within a week of registering. If you do not receive this email confirmation, please check your spam, then email us at fullcirclesmrtclasses@gmail.com. You will receive a text confirmation 7 to 14 days before the start date of class. When you have confirmed your attendance through text, we will be emailing you a digital copy of the textbook.

In addition to the textbook, bring a set of sheets. We will need massage tables. One to two weeks before class, we will send you a text confirmation asking if you can bring a table. If you live within driving distance, please bring a table because people who are flying in for the class may have to pay $200 each direction for an oversized bag. When we have the amount of tables we need +2, we will let you know by text that we do not need you to bring a table. We are incredibly appreciative of those who bring their tables to class. You will be able to leave your table in the conference room for the full class.

For class, please do not wear essential oils, heavily scented deodorants, perfume, or cologne, or heavily scented lotions. We have students who have allergies. We do not allow animals into classes. We have students who have allergies. You have registered for a group learning experience, an SMRT class. If you require individual attention, you will need to set up an individual class in which the instructor can pay attention to only you for the duration of class. Three days of individual instruction will cost approximately 5 times the cost of the group class you are registering for.

After class, we will be emailing your certificates and itemized receipts for the class. You should receive the email with your certificate(s) and receipt within a week of class ending. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam, then email us at fullcirclesmrtclasses@gmail.com

PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING: Full Circle’s event plugin has a glitch. After you register, you should receive an email saying you have registered. You may then receive a second email telling you either that you have been waitlisted or your registration was cancelled. This is the glitch. If a class has a waitlist, it will be listed as a ticket, you will not be automatically waitlisted. So, you have not been waitlisted nor has your registration been canceled.
